Copying Prices

For products with multiple price levels or products with prices that need to be updated, copying the existing price offers a time-saving method of preserving existing settings when adding prices.

The benefit of copying an existing price instead of creating a brand new one is that the copied price retains all the settings from the original price, including price attributes, price split settings, etc. Copied prices can then be tweaked as necessary and require less duplicate effort since the lion's share of settings were already copied over.

  1. Open the Product Record.

Note: Remember, in Impexium, a product is anything sold, including memberships, exhibit booths, merchandise, event registrations, etc.

  2. Click the Prices tab > Prices menu option.

  3. Click the Copy Price button. The Copy Price form appears.

    2. Under New Code, edit or enter a new code for the copied price.

    3. In the New Amount field, enter a new amount for the copied price, if necessary.

    4. If desired, edit the Start Date.

    5. Click Save.

  4. Locate the new, copied price in the price list.

  5. Click Edit to finish configuring the copied price.

Tip: Remember to update the Name of the copied price so that it's easily differentiated from the price it was copied from.
